Nambikkai Foundation is an accredited public benefit organization and non-profit organization. Our NPO number is 930051578

Every donation a company makes to Nambikkai Foundation, they can attract up to 25 points on their BBBEE (Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment) score card. Nambikkai Foundation is fully committed to alleviate hunger in South Africa. A large percentage of the population in South Africa are living below the poverty line. Every day is a struggle, filled with uncertainty of where and when their next meal would come from, for themselves or their children.

Socio-Economic development or Corporate Social Investment (CSI) is one of the simplest routes for companies to "give back" to society and to build a strong image as a caring corporate citizen as well as to earn BBBEE points.
Nambikkai Foundation is wholly dependent on donor funding. Donations are tax deductible and a tax certificate will be issued for inclusion in tax returns.
Donations can qualify organizations to score BBBEE points. The full value of the contributions made is recognizable if at least 75% of the value directly benefits previously disadvantaged South Africans. The beneficiaries of Nambikkai Foundation are more than 90% previously disadvantaged.
Business enterprises with an annual turnover of between R5 million and R35 million who donate 1% of net profit after tax will receive 25 points towards their BBBEE scorecard.
Enterprises with an annual turnover of more than R35 million would need to contribute 1% of net profit after tax to earn 25 points
Please note that points can only be received for company contributions, so donations from staff members will not be eligible.
Corporate sponsors will be given a certificate that can then be submitted to a BBBEE verification agency for points on their BBBEE scorecard.
